Ford realized a 9.7% year-over-year drop in full size Bronco sales to 105,665— models which were directly affected by the UAW strikes. However, Bronco Sport, which is built in Mexico and not affected by the UAW strike, saw its sales rise by 28% to 127,476 vehicles.

Ford would have put in even stronger numbers [if not for the Explorer recall and UAW strike].

Ford ultimately saw it’s best year since 2020, with overall sales rising 0.8% to 1,995,912 vehicles. Other 4th quarter highlights from Ford:

  • The Ford F-Series truck was once again the best selling vehicle in America for the 42nd year in a row
  • Ford was second in EV sales, just behind Tesla, with an increase of 18%
  • Ford’s overall U.S. market share is 12.7%, down from 13.3%
