It time to fix one of my most hated parts on the Bronco… The crash bars.

If you’ve installed an aftermarket rear bumper or are running 37” tires, Corbin from Weekends & Waypoints shows you how to get rid of a major flaw on the 6th gen Broncos.  If you’re running 37s, the flaw can rub on the tires badly. Plus, it just looks terrible.

This install video features the Lobo Off-road Brace and Erase Kit. The kit supports the bumper mount frame horns, preventing them from rotating, especially under certain loads or upward pressure on tow hooks. The goal is to strengthen the mounting department and eliminate the unsightly crash bar, allowing room for larger tires without rubbing.

Unlike some alternatives, this kit doesn’t lower the skid plate and maintains ground clearance.

If you’re looking to get rid of this flaw, check out this in-depth installation which is sure to help. But Lobo also offers detailed instructions on their website.

And if you enjoyed this install video, be sure to follow and connect with Weekends & Waypoints below.
