It shouldn’t be a surprise that we’re a bit Bronco-biased here. So, we won’t pass up the opportunity to gloat that this build was made by a former Jeeper. A former Jeeper who made this 2023 Bronco Badlands a true work of art with the help of some friends at Count’s Kustoms. But make no mistake— this Bronco isn’t just a show Bronco. It’s got enough off-road capability and upgrades to make any Wrangler jealous.

In the realm where duty, art, and passion converge, Cynthia Codesido is a testament to the indomitable spirit of a proud mom, artist, mechanic, and Army Veteran. Her story, a captivating odyssey through service, adversity, and the love of machines, unfolds as a unique tapestry woven with threads of courage and resilience.

clasico cynthia

In 2012, Cynthia etched her name into Army history, graduating as one of the pioneering soldiers from the inaugural Stryker Systems Maintainer class. The camaraderie forged in the crucible of military training formed bonds that would endure a lifetime. However, fate had both triumph and challenge in store for her. During a rigorous training session, Cynthia faced a setback—a turning point that led to her honorable discharge from the Army, making her a disabled veteran. Undeterred by adversity, she embarked on a path of recovery, drawing strength from an unexpected source—automobiles.

For Cynthia, the hum of engines became a soothing melody, a refuge from the trials she had faced. Her hands, once accustomed to the precision of military machinery, now found solace in the intricate workings of cars. A mechanic was born, and with each turn of the wrench, Cynthia’s passion flourished.

While building her car for SEMA, Cynthia unleashed her creativity as an artist. Drawing inspiration from her upbringing in the low-rider era, she envisioned a masterpiece that intertwined luxury with the classic low-rider aesthetic. The paint job, a breathtaking blend of bronze depicting lace details, open striping, and gold leafing, was a nod to the elegance and artistry of her vision.

Ryan Evans, of Counts Kustoms fame, played a pivotal role in bringing Cynthia’s artistic dreams to life. As the one and only, he skillfully translated her ideas into reality, transforming a vision on paper into a stunning automotive work of art.

Rounding out the team was Cynthia’s husband, Walter. They worked tirelessly, installing every necessary part to breathe life into their creation. Clasico was born—a testament to their partnership, passion, and shared commitment to excellence. It’s worth noting that Cynthia’s husband, a master detailer at Counts Kustoms, not only made the car shine like a mirror but also passed on his expertise to her, making her a skilled artisan in the art of detailing.

In this collaborative journey, Cynthia Codesido has not only overcome challenges but has also emerged as a beacon of inspiration for those who dare to dream, create, and drive their passions forward. Clasico was finally debuted at SEMA 2023.

The first thing you notice about Clasico is the paint job. Inspiration from 90’s low-rider culture is distinct. But upon closer look, Ryan Evans’ expertise and attention to detail really shine. Complimenting the pinstripes is an incredible juxtaposition of variegated gold leaves & lace design.

Cynthia knows exactly what she wants— and a winch is not one of them. So Metalcloak designed a one-off custom 6g front bumper that removed the winch housing. Also added were Metalcloak 6g rear bumper, rocker rails, and UnderCloak Integrated Armor System.

All exterior lighting, including the light bar, ditch lights & bumper work lights, are Quake LED.

The suspension boasts a 4″ Bilstein suspension lift kit, Metalcloak brace lift kit, upper control arms, Duroflex adjustable rear control arms, and Durotrak adjustable track bar.

Clasico sits on 17″ Ryno Cast Beadlock Raceline wheels with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss® 37″ tires.

The interior features Katskin diamond stitched seat covers complementing the gold low-rider theme. And, we submit for evidence that Clasico is not just a show car, an On-board Twin Motor/Cylinder Max Output Air Compressor by Tireflate for the trails.

Not bad for an ex-Jeeper, huh?
